NEW Cummins Engine Adapter and Flywheel for Small Frame Farmall International IH 656, 666 etc

This listing is for an adapter plate and a NEW flywheel to install the popular Cummins  4BT OR THE 5.9 6BT INTO the small frame IH tractors.

Built on a CNC machine and of high quality material with excellent workmanship!!
These two pieces (ADAPTER PLATE AND FLYWHEEL) are the most important of the re powering process. You SHOULD BE able to use your stock starter in MOST applications, as the ring gear is in the exact location as factory was! You will need to provide the front mount and other accessories and linkages yourself, as the Cummins can come with a wide variety of mounting points for accessory's. You will also want to make sure the clearance's in other areas' work for your application. IN PARTICULAR THE  FUEL TANK CLEARANCE IS AN ISSUE ON SOME TRACTORS IF USING AN ENGINE WITH UPRITE TURBO AND INTERCOOLER. Usually solved by cutting the front 8 or 10 inches off of the tank and welding a plate on the end. NOT AN ISSUE WHEN INSTALLING NATURALLY ASPIRATED ENGINES
You are in most all cases able to retain your sheetmetal (hoods etc) in its original position without modification.
Please let us know if your frame rails bolt on side or front of bell housing when ordering!

WE CAN PRICE THE ENGINE PLATE SEPARATELY FROM THE FLYWHEEL!!
ALL ORIGINAL TA ADJUSTMENTS AND CLUTCH CONTROLS CAN BE RETAINED.
This means the CLUTCH parts are available over the counter at your dealer or at any number of aftermarket parts yards and clutch rebuilders.

IT ALSO MEANS OUR HIGH PERFORMANCE TA'S AND  CLUTCHES
 FOR THESE MODEL TRACTORS ARE USABLE AS WELL!!
