NEW Cummins Engine Adapter 4B, 4BT 6B and 6BT for Small Frame Farmall International 504, 460 etc

This listing is for an adapter plate to install the popular Cummins  4B, 4BT OR THE 5.9 6BT INTO the small frame IH tractors.
New Plate  to repower with 4 or 6 cylinder Cummins. From a Farmall H, SH, 300, 340, 350, 504, 460, 544, 664, 656, 666 686 etc

Built on a CNC machine and of high quality material with excellent workmanship!!
This piece is the most important of the repowering process. You will need to provide the front mount and other accessories and linkages yourself, as the Cummins can come with a wide variety of mounting points for accessory's. You will also want to make sure the clearance's in other areas' work for your application. We have a 656 out there in a utility model with a 6BT under the hood!!
You are in many cases able to retain your sheetmetal (hoods etc) in its original position without modification.
Please let us know if your frame rails bolt on side or front of bell housing when ordering!
If from the front you will need to address a clearance problem in one lower engine bolt behind the frame rail  or
convert to side mounted rails like the later 656 tractors used. We do sell weld on ends for side mounting of the rails.

Plates are custom built of steel or aluminum
May require a custom flywheel and or adapter and ring gear, but in most cases we use an easily available 11 inch flywheel

Uses same 11 inch clutch parts as a 656, 666, 686 and many others.
You SHOULD BE able to use your stock starter drive in MOST applications, as the ring gear is in the exact location as factory was!

ALL ORIGINAL TA ADJUSTMENTS AND CLUTCH CONTROLS CAN BE RETAINED.
Usually the CLUTCH parts are available over the counter at your dealer or at any number of aftermarket parts yards and clutch rebuilders.

 FOR THESE MODEL TRACTORS ARE USABLE AS WELL!!
